Jr. Sharks grad, San Jose product Cooper captures weekly NA3HL award

The NA3HL announced today that Texas Brahmas forward Jack Cooper is the South Division Star of the Week.

Cooper strung together some masterful performances in the Southern Showcase this week, bagging a total of four goals and 10 points in four games for the host Brahmas.

The San Jose native got his week off to a strong start with a hat trick and two assists in a win over the Long Beach Sharks on Jan. 5, then followed with another tally and two more helpers to knock off the Northeast Generals on Jan. 8. Cooper then notched a fourth straight multi-point outing dating back to Dec. 17 with two assists on Jan. 9 against Long Beach and capped off his week with a plus-1 rating as the Brahmas knocked off the Oklahoma City Blazers on Sunday.

In total, the 2000-born Cooper boasts 13 goals and 39 points in 21 games in his third NA3HL campaign.

During his youth career, Cooper played for the San Jose Jr. Sharks.
