Jr. Sharks grad, Sunnyvale native Dysart pegged with weekly NAHL award

The NAHL has announced that St. Cloud Norsemen forward Tyler Dysart is the Central Division Star of the Week.

The Norsemen and Dysart extended their winning streak to five straight games thanks to a three-game weekend sweep of the North Iowa Bulls this past weekend.

The 18-year-old native of Sunnyvale was a factor in all three wins, recording five points (three goals, two assists).

“Tyler is a talented young kid who is starting to find his way,” said Norsemen head coach Corey Millen. “When he is skating and working, he is a very valuable player for us.”

On Friday, Dysart had a goal in a 4-3 home win. On Saturday, he picked up another goal and an assist in a 4-2 road win. On Sunday, he had the game-winning goal and an assist in a 2-1 win.

For the season, the San Jose Jr. Sharks product has 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) in 32 games.
