Los Angeles native Anzai decides on NCAA D-III Wisconsin-River Falls
The Jamestown Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced today that Top Prospects defenseman Sam Anzai has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Anzai, 20, just completed his first season of playing in the NAHL, which was his final season of junior hockey.
The native of Los Angeles played in 57 games during the 2018-19 regular season for the Rebels and recorded 29 points (eight goals, 21 assists).
Anzai also chipped in one goal in five Robertson Cup Playoff games.
He was also selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the East Division team, where he recorded one point in two games.
