Upland native and Damien High School Hockey, Orange County Hockey Club, and Anaheim Jr. Ducks alum Michael Marquez has signed a North American Hockey League tender agreement with the Amarillo Wranglers.

The 2003-born forward is playing this season in the North American Prospects Hockey League with Biggby Coffee 18U team.

Playing between Biggby and Amarillo in 2021-22, Marquez was with Amarillo earlier in the season then went back to Biggby before reporting back to Amarillo after Christmas. He is now back with Biggby and will be returning to Amarillo when his NAPHL season ends.

In addition to three games with the Wranglers, Marquez has compiled eight goals and 26 points in 50 games with Biggby.
