California natives Weber-Stewart, Stewart named monthly NCDC award winners

 

The NCDC has announced its players of the month for November, with two California natives taking home the honors.

The Mountain Division Rookie of the Month is the Ogden Mustangs’ Hudson Weber-Stewart, while the New England Division Forward of the Month is Declan Stewart of the Utica Jr. Comets.

Weber-Stewart, an Anaheim native, delivered a strong month, finishing November with eight points across seven games. Weber-Stewart netted six goals and added two assists in November. He scored in six different contests, including a two-goal performance on Nov. 22, and posted key tallies in back-to-back wins to close the month.

Stewart made a tremendous impact up front for his Utica squad as he went for nine points in seven games. The Redondo Beach native scored three goals and dished out six assists. This season, the Los Angeles Jr. Kings product has played in 22 games and has tallied 25 points.
