The USPHL has announced its weekly award winners, with two coming from California.

The New England Premier Division Forward of the Week is the Worcester Jr. Railers’ Tiki Martinez, while the Pacific Premier Division Forward of the Week is Ethan Yang of the Ventura Vikings.

Martinez recorded four points (two goals, two assists) in two games, providing reliable offense for Worcester.

The Los Angeles native played for the California Golden Bears and Anaheim Jr. Ducks during his youth hockey days.

Yang added six points (two goals, four assists) over three games, providing consistent production for Ventura.

The Valencia native played for the California Golden Bears, Los Angeles Jr. Kings, Santa Clarita Flyers, West Ranch High School and Cal State – Northridge back home.
