Loggins led the WCHA with three goals (the second-most nationally), helping Northern Michigan sweep then-No. 14 Bowling Green and leapfrog the Falcons for second place in the league standings.

He led all NCAA skaters last week with three power-play goals, as all three of his scores came with the man advantage. He opened the series with a pair of goals in Friday’s 5-2 win, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 lead at the 10:32 mark of the first period and a 4-1 advantage halfway through the second stanza. Loggins again got NMU on the board Saturday, scoring 1:55 into the second period to the game at 1-1, before the Wildcats eventually earned a 3-2, overtime victory. He finished the weekend with 10 shots on goal.

This is Loggins’ first career WCHA weekly award.

During his youth career, Loggins played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and LA Hockey Club.
