Colgate junior defenseman Antonio Fernandez has been named ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week.

Fernandez logged a goal and an assist over the weekend against No. 3 Boston University.

The Danville native and San Jose Jr. Sharks grad posted an assist on Friday on the first Raiders goal and scored a go-ahead goal 1:48 into the third period on Saturday.

Fernandez also blocked five shots and went plus-2 over the weekend.
