The USPHL has announced that Las Vegas Thunderbirds forward Heath Mensch is the Pacific Division Forward of the Week.

It’s always nice when a hometown product like Mensch, a 2003 birth year from Las Vegas, can be such a strong asset for their local team.

Mensch helped the T-Birds win their last two of three games against the Ontario Jr. Reign, posting six goals and five assists for 11 points in the three-game series. This included a four-goal game in Las Vegas’ 8-4 win after falling 8-4 one day earlier.

During his youth career, Mensch played for the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights.
