Las Vegas product Moline commits to NCAA Division I Michigan Tech for ’26-27 season
Austin Moline announced on his personal social media pages recently his commitment to Michigan Tech University to play NCAA Division I hockey in the CCHA starting with the 2026-27 season.
Moline, a Las Vegas native, has played in 17 games this season for the USHL’s Madison Capitols, scoring one goal and assisting on eight others from the blue line. He is tied for the team lead in plus-minus with a plus-11 mark.
The Philadelphia Flyers prospect skated in 59 games for the Capitols in 2024-25 while recording 21 points and a plus-minus rating of plus-39, ranking third in the USHL last season and second among Capitols in the team’s Tier I history.
A 2005 birth year, Moline was taken in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft at Sphere in his hometown.
Back home, Moline played for the Nevada Storm and at Faith Lutheran High School. He also spent time in California playing for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
