Former Los Angeles Jr. Kings forward Andre Gasseau has announced his commitment to attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Boston College following his junior career.

This season, Gasseau, a 2003-born native of Los Angeles, is skating for USA Hockey’s NTDP Under-18 Team.

Last month, Gasseau, along with former Jr. Kings defensemen Aidan Hreschuk, also a Boston College recruit, Shai Buium, who will play his NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Denver, and Ty Murchison were recognized by NHL Central Scouting on its preliminary “Players to Watch” list for 2021 draft-eligibles.

Gasseau, Hreschuk and Murchison were members of the Jr. Kings’ 2017-18 Pacific District champion 14U AAA team that advanced to the USA Hockey National Championships.
