The Big Ten has announced that University of Michigan sophomore forward Brendan Brisson is the week’s Second Star

Brisson recorded a five-point weekend as Michigan swept No. 10 UMass, scoring three goals and adding two assists.

He scored the game’s first goals on back-to-back nights and finished the series with a plus-5 rating. Brisson also picked up an assist on the game-winning goal on Jan. 8.

This is his third career weekly honor and third of the 2021-22 season.

During his youth hockey days, the Vegas Golden Knights prospect and Manhattan Beach native played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
