San Diego native, Jr. Gulls grad Moy chosen ECAC Hockey Player of the Week
Harvard University senior Tyler Moy has been selected as the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 19, 2017.
Moy had a tremendous week for the Crimson, pacing the offense with seven points.
The San Diego native dished out a pair of assists, including the primary on the game-winning goal against Boston University in the Beanpot final last Monday. He then went on to pot two goals against both Yale and Brown during Harvard’s weekend sweep of its Ivy League foes.
The win at Yale secured the Ivy League crown for the Crimson
He had a three-point night Saturday at Brown, tacking on an assist.
Moy enters the final weekend of the regular season tied for first on the team in points with 33.
In his youth days, Moy skated for the San Diego Jr. Gulls and was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round (175th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
