Trail Smoke Eaters forward Christian Kim is the BCHL’s Third Star of the Month.

Kim put up 15 points in nine games during the month on four goals and 11 assists.

The fourth-year BCHL veteran and Torrance native had a point in every November game, including a three-point outing to kick off the month on Nov. 1 with a goal and two assists in a 5-2 home win against the Cranbrook Bucks. He also collected three points on Nov. 28 when he had a trio of helpers in Trail’s 6-5 victory over the Vernon Vipers.

Kim, who is committed to the Air Force Academy, is the Smoke Eaters’ leading point getter with 25 in 22 contests so far this season. His 17 assists also lead the team.

Back home, Kim skated for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and Orange Lutheran High School.
