Jr. Reign alum, trio of Jr. Sharks grads selected in 2022 NHL Draft

 

The 2022 NHL Draft was held July 7-8 in Montreal, and four players with California connections saw their dreams get one step closer as they were picked by NHL clubs.

San Jose Jr. Sharks alum Garrett Brown was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the fourth round (99th overall) by the Winnipeg Jets, while the San Jose Sharks nabbed another Jr. Sharks grad, Reese Laubach, in the seventh round (207th overall).

In addition, Jr. Sharks alum Cade Littler was taken by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round (219th overall).

Wrapping up the ties for California, Jr. Reign graduate Emmett Croteau was chosen in the sixth round (162nd overall) by the Montreal Canadiens.
