Gillette Wild forward Tristan Baker has been named the NA3HL’s Frontier Division Star of the Week.

After finding the scoresheet in each of his first two games during Week 1, Baker exploded for nine points in two games against the Yellowstone Quake last week.

The second-year sniper from Clovis posted a goal and a whopping four assists on Friday, then recorded two goals and two more helpers on Saturday for his first multi-point outings of the season.

Baker boasts goals in three straight games now, and has appeared on the scoresheet in each of his four games played so far this year.

During his youth hockey days, Baker starred for the Bakersfield Jr. Condors and also played junior hockey in the WSHL for the Fresno Monsters.
