The USPHL has announced that Ogden Mustangs forward Cade Herrera is the Mountain Division Forward of the Week.

Herrera, a 2002 birth year from Brentwood, is well past the 100-point mark now with 108 career points in two USPHL Premier seasons.

He scored five goals over the weekend, during which the Mustangs went 2-0-1. Herrera posted four goals in their Jan. 22 victory against the Ontario Jr. Reign and had the game-tying goal to force overtime against the Las Vegas Thunderbirds, who eventually won that game. He now has 57 points (34 goals, 23 assists) this season.

Back home, Herrera played for the Golden State Elite Eagles and San Jose Jr. Sharks.
