California product, Army West Point senior Kozlowski named to 2021 Mike Richter Award Watch List

Army West Point senior goaltender Trevin Kozlowski has been named to the 2021 Mike Richter Award Watch List.

The award is given annually to the top goaltender in NCAA men’s Division I hockey and this year’s watch list features 34 goalies. The list features 10 netminders from Atlantic Hockey, which is the most among the conferences around the nation.

Kozlowski has a 5-3-1 record this season in nine starts and is currently riding a six-game unbeaten streak with five straight wins and a shootout victory on Saturday night at Sacred Heart. He has a 2.49 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Kozlowski has made 30 or more stops in three games this season.

In his career, the Valencia native has 27 wins between the pipes with a 2.37 GAA and a .906 save percentage.

A committee of voters — made up of a cross section of coaches, administrators, scouts and media — will pare this list down to approximately 15 names within the next two weeks and then ultimately choose the winner who will be announced in April during the NCAA Frozen Four.

During his youth career, Kozlowski played for the Valencia Express, Los Angeles Jr. Kings, LA Selects and California Titans.
