Corona native and Rochester Institute of Technology junior forward Jake Hamacher has been named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 16, 2020.

In the Tigers’ weekend sweep of Bentley, Hamacher led all of Atlantic Hockey with five points, totaling two goals and an assist on Friday before adding two assists to Saturday’s effort.

He has climbed to second on the team in scoring with four goals and three assists over the last three games, including two goals in the Tigers’ 3-3 tie at Robert Morris on Feb. 8.

During his youth hockey career, Hamacher played for the California Titans and Wildcats Hockey Club (now Ontario Jr. Reign).
