The BCHL’s Powell River Kings have announced the signing of 16-year-old forward Jordan Tran for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

A native of Mesa, Ariz., Tran is a skilled offensive forward known for his playmaking ability, puckhandling, and hockey IQ.

Tran, who won a national championship in 2025-26 with the Okanagan Hockey Colorado 16U AAA team, comes to Powell River after time in California with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and most recently with the USHL’s the Sioux City Musketeers, where he was selected in Phase I of the 2025 USHL Draft.

Tran reunites with former teammates Grady and Jackson Schaefer, who recently signed with the Kings, adding familiar chemistry to the group.

An avid fisherman, Tran is excited to explore the waters around Powell River and make the most of his time on the Sunshine Coast.

Also in California, Tran skated for the Capistrano United high school team.
