The USPHL has announced that Ogden Mustangs forward Cade Herrera is a Mountain Division Forward of the Month.

Herrera, a 2002 birth year out of Brentwood, put together an 8-9-17 month in nine December games for the Mustangs, who continue in their pursuit of the first-place Utah Outliers.

Herrera registered a career-best four goals and added an assist against the Provo Riverblades on Dec. 10. He now has 41 points in 30 games and 98 points in two USPHL regular seasons.

During his youth hockey career, Herrera played for the Golden State Elite Eagles and San Jose Jr. Sharks.
