Henderson native, Jr. Kings product Kichline commits to NCAA D-III Amherst
The NAHL’s Rochester Jr. Americans have announced that defenseman Dexter Kichline has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Amherst College in the NESCAC.
The third-year Rochester veteran, Kichline will join the Mammoths in the fall.
The Henderson native has played 166 games as a Jr. American, skating 31 games during the 2025-26 season and picking up a goal and 12 assists.
Last season, the Los Angeles Jr. Kings alum played in every game for Rochester, including the team’s run in the postseason. In 59 regular season games and 12 postseason games, Kichline tallied five goals while adding 20 assists. His work on the ice earned him the recognition as a Top Prospect for the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament, where he played on the East Division roster.
His rookie season in the NAHL featured the blueliner playing 62 games with the new organization. He scored four goals and chipped in seven assists.
In total, the Rochester captain registered 49 career points on 10 goals and 39 assists.
