Irvine, San Jose selected as host cities for 2019 USA Hockey National Championships
USA Hockey announced today the host sites for its slate of 2019 USA Hockey National Championships, with each tournament to be contested in March/April 2019.
The 2019 USA Hockey National Championships will mark the 70th anniversary of USA Hockey crowning the nation’s best in youth hockey, a tradition that dates back to 1949 and the inaugural national championship tournament for players “under the high school age” held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Girls Tier I event will be played in Irvine and hosted by the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and Lady Ducks, while the Youth 18U Tier II event will take place in San Jose, hosted by the Jr. Sharks.
