The USPHL announced today that Twin City Thunder forward Tristan Rand is a NCDC North Division Forward of the Month.

Rand, a 2002 birth year out of Valencia, has picked up serious steam since mid-November, scoring 11 of his 18 total points in his last 10 games, missing the scoresheet just once in that span.

During the month of December, Rand posted four goals and seven points in six games, including two goals – one being the game-winner – against the Northern Cyclones in a 4-1 Thunder victory on Dec. 4. He also had two assists in a 6-0 win for Twin City over South Shore.

Back home, Rand played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
