The ECHL’s Tahoe Knight Monsters have announced the signing of defenseman Kaelan Taylor.  

Taylor rejoins the Knight Monsters for his second full season after posting 20 points (three goals, 17 assists) in 67 games last season.

Taylor came to Tahoe at the end of the 2024-25 season, playing in five games for the Knight Monsters during their inaugural campaign, scoring two points (goal, assist).

The Oceanside native appeared in 149 career games at NCAA Division I Clarkson University, including serving as captain during his final season.

Prior to joining Clarkson, Taylor spent one season in the NAHL for the Corpus Christi IceRays and later played in 105 games over two seasons for the USHL’s Dubuque Fighting Saints, serving as an alternate captain during the 2019-20 season.

Back home, Taylor skated for the San Diego Jr. Gulls and Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
