The CCHA has announced that Bemidji State junior Mattias Sholl is the Goaltender of the Week.

Sholl went 0-1-1 with a 1.95 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage, making a CCHA-best 74 saves to help Bemidji State to a pair of points at Michigan Tech last weekend.

He turned away 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Huskies on Friday, before stopping 46 in a 2-2 tie on Saturday, in which the Beavers won the shootout.

Helping the BSU penalty kill to a 5-for-6 weekend, the Hermosa Beach native turned aside 12 of 13 shots while shorthanded.

Sholl is a Los Angeles Jr. Kings graduate.
