Minnesota Duluth freshman forward Hunter Anderson has been named the NCHC Rookie of the Week after his four-point performance against Miami over the weekend.

The Manhattan Beach native led all scorers with four points on two goals and two assists, his first collegiate series with back-to-back multiple-point games. Anderson scored a power-play goal in each game, including the game winner Saturday night, and added four shots on goal.

Back home, Anderson spent time with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
