Jr. Reign alum Croteau collects weekly ECAC Hockey accolades

 

ECAC Hockey has announced that Dartmouth netminder Emmett Croteau has been named the Goalie of the Week.

Croteau started both games this weekend for the Big Green and turned away 32 of 35 shots in two wins. On Friday against Union, he made 17 saves on 19 shots in a 4-2 win for the Big Green. Against RPI on Saturday, he turned away 15 of 16 shots while leading Dartmouth to a 3-1 win over the Engineers.

The Bonnyville, Alta., native and Jr. Reign alum finished the weekend with a 1.50 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.

The junior is 9-3-1 this season with a .928 save percentage and a 1.76 goals-against average. He’s second in the country in goals-against average while leading the ECAC, also leading the conference in save percentage.

It is the third time this season that Croteau has been named ECAC Goalie of the Week (Dec. 4, Dec. 30).
