Utica College senior goalie Sean Dickson has been named the UCHC Goaltender of the Week.

Dickson was a guiding force for No. 3 Utica in its weekend sweep of No. 14 Curry College and SUNY Cortland.

In Saturday’s win over Curry, the Millbrae native turned away 15 of 17 shots as the Pioneers took care of the Colonels by a 6-2 score. In Sunday’s 2-0 win over Cortland, Dickson stopped all 30 shots he faced to extend his school record to nine career shutouts.

Dickson has not allowed a man-advantage goal this season in nine appearances.

This is his second weekly honor of 2021-22.

During his youth hockey days, Dickson played for the San Jose Jr. Sharks.
