Jr. Sharks alum, San Jose product Braslavski inks NAHL tender with Chippewa for ’21-22 season
The El Paso Rhinos of the NA3HL announced today that forward Barak Braslavski has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Chippewa Steel of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
Braslavski, a San Jose native and former Jr. Sharks youth standout, played in 25 games between the NAHL’s Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL and Rhinos during the 2020-21 season, recording five goals and eight assists for 13 points.
“Barak is a veteran of the NAHL and is another player with high character who will contribute immediately,” said Chippewa coach-GM Mike Janda, a former Jr. Sharks coach. “He skates very well and can get to the net. He is a player who will be leaned on heavily next year and he is excited for that.”
Braslavski made his NAHL debut during the 2019-20 season, appearing in 36 games with Fairbanks and recording 11 points on five goals and six assists.
