Utica University sophomore Angela Hawthorne has been named the 2021-22 UCHC Goaltender of the Year.

The Santa Clara native has gone 14-3-0 with a 1.22 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage to go along with five shutouts.

She made at least 20 saves in a game six times, including a career-best 49-save effort against Nazareth College.

Hawthorne spent time with the San Jose Jr. Sharks during her youth hockey career.
