Jr. Sharks graduate Celebrini garners weekly USHL accolades

 

The USHL has announced that the Chicago Steel’s Mack Celebrini has been named the USHL Forward of the Week.

Celebrini helped lead the Steel to back-to-back wins over the Madison Capitols last week with three assists in a 6-3 victory Dec. 16 and two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win Dec. 17. He was also plus-4 for the weekend.

A Vancouver, B.C., native, Celebrini ranks third in USHL scoring with 30 points on 16 goals and 14 assists in 19 games. The Boston University commit also leads the league in points per game (1.58) and power-play goals (9).

During his youth hockey days, Celebrini played for the San Jose Jr. Sharks.
