Jr. Sharks product, San Jose native Ghiossi commits to NCAA Division III powerhouse Utica
The NAHL’s Odessa Jackalopes have announced that forward Caden Ghiossi has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Utica University.
The San Jose native is a second-year veteran of the Jackalopes and this past season, was the top goal scorer for Odessa, lighting the lamp 31 times. His offensive production had him tied first on the team with 61 points on the season while adding a team-leading plus-22 rating on the year.
His work on the ice earned him recognition as a Top Prospect for the 2026 Top Prospects Tournament at USA Hockey Arena, representing the South Division at the annual event and producing three points over the two-day tournament on a game-winning goal and two assists.
Ghiossi was also named to the All-South Division Team for his play during the regular season.
In his rookie year in the NAHL, Ghiossi put up 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points.
Back home, Ghiossi skated for the San Jose Jr. Sharks and Bellarmine College Prep.
