A University of Wisconsin senior, Pankowski enjoyed an historic March, scoring 11 goals for the Badgers while leading UW to its fifth NCAA title and its eighth WCHA tournament crown.

Pankowski scored a goal in each game in March, matching her career best goal streak of seven games, which is the third-longest streak in program history. She was the only player in the WCHA to record a hat trick in the month while her 11 goals and 13 points paced the NCAA. Pankowski also recorded an NCAA-best plus/minus rating of plus-14 during the month.

The senior co-captain broke the school record for most career shorthanded goals with her final tally as a Badger in UW’s 2-0 win against Minnesota in the NCAA title game. That goal appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter’s Top-10 plays, her fifth appearance of the season.

Pankowski was named the WCHA Final Faceoff MOP and was named to the WCHA All-Tournament Team and the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament Team.
