The CCHA has announced that Bowling Green sophomore Quinn Emerson is the Forward of the Week.

Emerson paced all CCHA skaters in points (4), assists (3) and plus-minus (+4), leading Bowling Green to a road sweep of Ferris State last weekend.

He opened the weekend by scoring a goal and assisting on the game-winner in a come-from-behind 4-3 victory. He then dished out a pair of helpers in a 3-1 win on Saturday night.

For the weekend, the Manhattan Beach native notched four shots on goal and one block at the defensive end of the ice.

During his youth hockey days, Emerson played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
