The USPHL has announced that Charlotte Rush goalie Perry Jacobs is the Elite Southeast Division Goaltender of the Week.

Jacobs, an ‘04 from Sparks, picked up two of the Rush’s four wins as they continued their red-hot 11-game winning streak by taking all four USPHL Tampa Showcase games. Jacobs defeated the top two Florida teams, the Tampa Bay Juniors (19 saves on 21 shots) and the Florida Eels (25 saves on 28 shots).

Overall, Jacobs is 7-3-0 with a .921 save percentage and a 2.45 GAA.

During his youth hockey days, Jacobs spent time in California with the Golden State Elite Eagles.
