The SPHL’s Birmingham Bulls have announced the signing of forward Matt Wiesner for the 2026-27 season.

Wiesner returns to where he played from 2022-24, collecting 24 goals and 56 points over 105 games in the regular season for the Bulls.

A native of Newport Beach, Wiesner recorded 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) in 55 games during the 2025-26 SPHL season with the Peoria Rivermen, Pensacola Ice Flyers and Fayetteville Marksmen.

Back home, Wiesner spent time with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
