Playa Del Rey native, Jr. Kings, Titans alum Mobley earns EHL honors for second straight week

The EHL announced today that New Hampshire Avalanche goalie Ronan Mobley is one of the league’s Top Performers for Week No. 14, earning recognition for the second consecutive week.

Mobley and the Avalanche have won seven straight games after picking up a trio of wins at the Newington Showcase last weekend.

The 2001-born native of Playa Del Rey was in net for all three matchups, as New Hampshire beat the Philadelphia Little Flyers, Team Maryland, and the Vermont Lumberjacks. Mobley turned aside 74 of the 79 shots he faced in Connecticut, lowering his GAA down to 1.68 and increasing his save percentage up to .941. Those numbers rank Mobley second and third in each respective category, all while his 16 total victories is the most in the EHL.

The Avalanche are currently the top-ranked team in the league with a record of 22-3-3, and they are currently off until January 11, when they return for a huge matchup of their own against the Rangers.

During his youth hockey career, Mobley played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings and California Titans.
