Playa del Rey native, Jr. Kings, Titans alum Mobley earns monthly honors from EHL
The EHL has announced that New Hampshire Avalanche goaltender Ronan Mobley is one of the January Stars of the Month.
Mobley nearly put together a perfect month, only to have it spoiled on the final day.
Regardless, the 2001-born native of Playa del Rey posted a record of 6-1-0 in the month of January, to go along with a 1.50 GAA and a .949 save percentage.
Overall, his record for the season stands at 22-4-2, with a 1.36 GAA, a .943 save percentage, and six shutouts.
Mobley and the Avalanche have officially secured the No. 1 seed in the North Division playoffs, so now they will turn their attention towards capturing a regular-season championship, which would be the program’s first in franchise history. Whether or not that comes to fruition is not the main goal, however, as the Avalanche have their sights set on Providence and earning some revenge at the 2022 EHL Frozen Finals.
During his youth hockey days, Mobley played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings and California Titans.
