San Diego native, Michigan junior Slaker tabbed Big Ten Second Star of the Week
The Big Ten announced Tuesday its three Stars of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18 and a California native was named as one of the honorees.

Jake Slaker, Michigan
F – Jr. – San Diego, Calif.
• Recorded four points on two goals and two assists to help the Wolverines split the weekend at No. 5 Penn State
• Netted a pair of goals in Michigan’s come-from-behind win on Friday, including the game-winner, and the primary assist on the first goal in the third period to start the comeback
• Tallied a helper in Saturday’s contest
• The Academic All-Big Ten honoree claims his third career weekly award and first since Oct. 24, 2017 (Second Star)
In his youth hockey days, Slaker skated for the UTC Jaguars, Kroc Center Saints, SDIA and the LA Hockey Club.
