The NAPHL’s T1ER League has announced that Carshield AAA 18U forward Talen Garcia has signed an NAHL tender agreement for the 2024-25 season with the Chippewa Steel.

Garcia has been with the Carshield organization in the NAPHL dating back to the 2021-22 season where he started at the 16U level.

Over the course of the three seasons with Carshield, the San Diego native has appeared in a total of 47 regular-season games, tallying 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists).

Garcia has made a run for the Dixon Cup at the 16U and 18U levels, playing in a total of 14 playoff games, his most notable being this season where he netted six goals and notch five assists.

In California, Garcia skated for the San Diego Saints, Anaheim Jr. Ducks, Los Angeles Jr. Kings and Orange Lutheran High School.
