San Jose native, Jr. Sharks grad Scott tabbed Hockey East Player of the Week
Maine forward Harrison Scott has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week.
Scott recorded a league-leading five points on five assists in then-No. 9 Maine’s series sweep of then-No. 7 Quinnipiac, with two of his assists coming on game-winning goals. The senior also had a league-leading 27 faceoff wins on the weekend to go with seven shots on goal and one blocked shot.
On Friday night, Scott found Charlie Russell in front of the net for the eventual game-winning goal. On Saturday night, Scott earned a career-high four assists. The alternate captain set up Brandon Holt’s game-tying goal with 28 seconds left in the third and then found David Breazeale for the overtime winner with 36 seconds to play to give Maine its first top-10 sweep since 2019.
This is the second career Hockey East weekly honor for Scott.
Back home, Scott played for the San Jose Jr. Sharks.
