Torrance native, Jr. Ducks alum Giourof commits to play NCAA D-III hockey for Curry

 

The NAHL’s New Hampshire Mountain Kings have announce that forward Marko Giourof has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Curry College (CCC), located in Milton, Mass.

Giourof, 20, just wrapped up his first and final season in the NAHL. The Torrance native began his career in the NAHL with the Kenai River Brown Bears, playing 36 games in Alaska before finishing out the last 10 games of the year with the Mountain Kings.

Over the course of the year, the future Colonel tallied a total of 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists). Of his 11 goals, four were on the power play while one served as the game-winner for Kenai River.

Prior to this season, Giourof played two seasons for the NCDC’s Northern Cyclones, posting 28 goals and 71 points in 90 games.

Back home, Giourof played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks.
