Atlanta MadHatters blueliner Ryder Heskett has been named the USPHL Elite Defenseman of the Week in the Florida Division.

Heskett, a 2003 birth year out of Torrance, was another second-year Elite player who put together a strong performance at the Southeast Showcase, scoring a goal and two assists.

During his youth hockey career, Heskett played for the California Wave.
