OCHC, Empire, Damien High School alum, Norco native Harris off to ACHA hockey with Montana
The NA3HL’s Sheridan Hawks have announce that defenseman Sean Harris has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for the University of Montana.
Over the past three seasons, Harris has been a reliable blueliner for the Sheridan Hawks, appearing in 129 games and recording 34 points. This past season, Harris recorded 13 points on two goals and 11 assists in 42 games.
“Sean was a player we all looked upon in big moments and big games every game this past season,” said Sheridan head coach JJ Santagata. “He was an extremely reliable and consistent defenseman for three years for us and we are excited to see him head to University of Montana and compete for a national championship and get a great education.”
The best performances of the season from the longtime Hawk came against the Yellowstone Quake in back-to-back games on March 6-7 when he recorded two assists.
Back home, the Norco native played for the Orange County Hockey Club, Empire Hockey Club and Damien High School.
