The ECHL’s Tahoe Knight Monsters have announced the signing of forward Jake Durflinger for the 2026-27 season.

Durflinger put up 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 58 games for Tahoe last season, while also adding 102 penalty minutes, which ranked second on the team.

A native of Walnut Creek, Durflinger spent the previous season playing for the Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League. Prior to going overseas, Durflinger played two seasons for the ECHL’s Iowa Heartlanders, where he tallied 47 points (19 goals, 28 assists) and 194 penalty minutes over 104 games.

Durflinger played his collegiate hockey in the NCAA Division I ranks for Denver and Merrimack, where he skated in 165 games over his career.

In California, Durflinger skated for the Berkeley Bulldogs and San Jose Jr. Sharks.
