The California Dreamin’ Hockey Tournaments’ Summer Scorcher event was held over the July 3-6 weekend in Southern California.

A total of eight teams brought home championship banners at the end of the thrilling weekend.

8U: Cali Ice Mites beat South Bay Canadiens 3-2

10U Flight 1: Tri Valley Blue Devils beat Monarchy Chrome 6-1

10U Flight 2: Monarchy Stealth beat Desert Blaze 11-8

12U Flight 1: Summer Devils beat Monarchy Force 6-1

12U Flight 2: Monarchy Stealth beat Cavalry 5-4 (shootout)

14U Flight 1: Monarchy Stealth beat Crush 4-1

14U Flight 2: Monarchy Chrome beat Monarchy Force 11-3

Midget Open: Crush beat Monarchy Chrome 8-0

The next event is the Labor Day Festival, slated for September 4-7.
