The USPHL has announced that the Richmond Generals’ Matt Hamacher is the Southeast Division Forward of the Week.

Hamacher, a 2003-born Corona native, was all over the rival Charlotte Rush in a sweep weekend for the Generals, first posting two goals – including the regulation game winner – in a 4-3 win. He added another two goals with an assist in the Gens’ 7-3 win on Sunday.

During his youth hockey days, Hamacher skated for the Empire Hockey Club and LA Jr. Kings.
