Coto de Caza native and Texas Brahmas forward Leevi Selanne has been named the NA3HL’s South Division Star of the Week for the week ending Dec. 1, 2019.

After snapping a seven-game point streak on Nov. 24, Selanne responded with six points in a three-game set against the Louisiana Drillers as the Brahmas went 2-1.

In Friday’s win, Selanne scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and added another assist. After being held pointless in Texas’ loss on Saturday, he tallied his second hat trick of the season to help his team get back on track and close out the week with a win.

Selanne, a former player with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and Santa Margarita Catholic High School, now boasts 13 goals and 26 points in just 20 games this season.
