The USPHL announced today that Motor City Hockey Club forward Ethan Iida is the Midwest East Division Forward of the Week.

The 2004-born Arcadia native busted out of the crowd in a big way in a 5-4 Motor City overtime win by registering one goal and assisting on all the others, including the OT winner by Cody Patton. He also had a goal in the first game of the weekend in an 8-7 OT loss to MJDP in which Motor City clawed back for a point after being down 6-1 after two periods.

During his youth hockey days, Iida played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
